FTU Tutorial
Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice, I used Tony Tzanoukakis, you can purchase license here
Font of choice, I used Fiolex Girls here
FTU scrap kit Angelic by Toxic Desirez here
DBV Mask 111 here
Disclaimer: Written September 7, 2012 by Pamela. This tutorial is written purely from my own imagination, any, similarities to any other is purely coincidental. It is also written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.
Let’s begin !
Open a 700 x 700 image and fill with white
Add a new layer and select all
Open paper 7 and paste into selection
Apply DBV mask 111 and merge group
Open sparkles, copy and paste, move to top of mask
Duplicate this layer, image, flip
Open the rainbow, copy and paste, move slightly up (see my tag for reference)
Copy blossom 1, paste and resize 70 %, rotate 90 degrees right and move to the right
Duplicate and mirror, duplicate move slightly left, now duplicate, image, mirror
Open blossom 2, resize 70%, rotate 90 degrees right and move the right
Duplicate, then mirror
Open cloud 3 and paste as a new layer
Paste cloud 3 again, resize 80% and move up over the left side of the rainbow
Copy and paste your tube and place where you like on the cloud
Copy and paste rose 1, resize 20%, rotate 90% left move to the tubes hand
Go back to the cloud, duplicate and mirror and make sure the right edge of the rainbow is covered
Also make the cloud partially cover the tube as shown
Open the sparkles element and paste, place over tube as shown
Copy and paste bow 1 and resize 30% or until you’re satisfied
Copy and paste butterfly 3, resize to your liking, I did 30% then 70%
Drop shadow to your butterfly, ribbon, tube and flowers, I used h and v – 2, opacity – 50 and blur – 5.
Add artist copyright and info and your name.
Delete the bottom layer and merge visible.
You’re done, unless you want to animate, if so continue……
Copy and paste cloud 3 and move to top of mask
Duplicate 3 times to make 4 layers, rename 1, 2, 3 and 4
Position each layer slightly lower than the other without covering her face.
Close all numbered layers and highlight the merged layer
Copy and paste as a new layer in animation shop
Back to PSP and open layer 1, copy merged, paste after current frame in AS
Repeat the same process for layers 2, 3 and 4, pasting each one in AS
Now in PSP with all layers open, copy merged and paste after in AS
In AS, click on frame 1, edit, select all and change the frame properties to 200.
Click frame 1 and change property to 250.
Click the last frame and change property to 250.
Now run the animation to see if you’re satisfied.
