PTU Tutorial

Feeling Lucky !




Supplies needed:

Paint Shop Pro X or any version

Tamara SV (1)(included in kit)

Remember: to apply your drop shadow as you proceed. I used h and v 2, opacity 30, blur 10.

Let’s begin

Open template, shift + d

Image, canvas size 800 x 800, center

Delete credit, raster 14, right dark green square, right gold rectangle and stitches layers

Close all word art and clover layers

Highlight background layer, fill white

Apply a new layer, select all

Paste paper 21 into selection

Apply mask, merge group

Click on the left gold rectangle layer,

 right click, merge, merge down

Select all, float, defloat

C/p paper 12 into selection

Click the left light gold square, merge down

Select all, float, defloat

C/p paper 7 into selection

Select all, float, defloat the dark green slats

C/p paper 18 into selection

Select all, float, defloat the green oval

C/p paper 16 into selection, keep selected

C/p Tamara SV (4) as a new layer

Resize 60%, duplicate, highlight raster 1

Adjust, blur, motion blur




Click on copy of tube, change blend mode to hard light

Apply ds to tube

Select, float, defloat the dark green square

C/p paper 14 into selection

C/p Tamara SV 3 as new layer

Resize 50%, move into square 

Selections, invert, delete, select none

Duplicate tube, on original apply a radial blur 



Change opacity to 50
Go to tube copy and change blend to soft light
Apply drop shadow
Go to rectangle, select all, float, defloat
C/p Tamara SV tube 3, rs 50%
Line this up under the previous tube
Duplicate tube, apply above blur to original
Reduce opacity to 50
On tube copy apply soft light and drop shadow
C/p element 23 under the slats
C/p el 97, rs 80%, move to top left
Duplicate, flip, mirror
C/p el 30 above the slats, rs 70%, image, free rotate right at 15
El 33 - 60%
El 42 - 40%
El 40 - 30%
El 72 - 30%, move bottom right, duplicate, mirror
Duplicate, move slightly down, duplicate, mirror
El 11 - 40%
El 96 - 60%
El 14 - 60%
Merge down all word art layers and the clover
Resize 60%, move to top or where you desire
C/p Tamara SV 1, resize 60%
You're done.

Remember to apply your drop shadow as you proceed.  I used h and v 2 opacity 30 blur 10

Let’s begin!

 Open the template, delete the credit, frame border, body and glass lens layers

Highlight the background layer ,add a new layer

Select all, paste paper 8 into selection

Apply mask, merge group

Click the strips layer, select all, float, defloat

Choose the rectangle, select all, float, defloat

Paste paper 14 into selection, keep selected

Copy your close-up and paste as new layer, resize 70%, position. invert, delete

Change blend to multiply. select none, apply ds to tube and rectangle

 Merge tube layer down, apply ds again

Click on dodge back 1 and click with your magic wand, hold down your shift key

While holding shift key click dodge back 2 layer and click with magic wand

While holding shift key click dodge back 3 layer and click with magic wand

Now, all 3  should have marching ants around them

 Add new layer

Paper 9, paste into selection

Copy full tube, paste as new layer, resize 70%, position, invert, delete

Change blend mode to multiply, apply ds, select none

Merge down to cover all dodge backs, apply ds

element io, 70%, image, free rotate, right, 30, ok

element 7

element 24, 80%

element 22

element 3

element 69

element 68

element 1 - 80%

element 2 - 70%

element 20 - 60%,  duplicate and move slightly down to the right

element 10 - 60%

element 30 - 40%

element 91 - 20%

Add your tube, copyright info and name.

You're done!

Let’s begin:

Open a 700 x 700 image, fill white.

New layer, paste paper 14, apply mask, merge group.

DAIJ-el 14, resize 80%.

DAIJ -el 19, resize 40%.

DAIJ-el 2, resize 40%.

Element 18, resize 40%.

DAIJ-el 16, resize 40%, duplicate, move down.

DAIJ-el 15,resize  60%.

DAIJ-el 21, move to left, duplicate, mirror horizontal, merge down.

Pdc GL 1P_03 barrel, resize 40%.

Pdc_GL1P_12.

Element 32, resize 70%.

Element 1, resize 60%.

Element 29, resize 40%.

Element 34, resize 40%, then 70%.

Element 64, resize 40%.

Element 77, resize40%.

Add your tube, resize to your liking.

Add copyright info and the name you desire on the tag.

You’re done.

Let’s begin

Open template, shift + d to copy, close original.

Delete info layer and layer 7, highlight background layer.

Add new layer, select all

Open paper 14(TALC) and paste into selection.

Select none, apply mask and merge group.

Layer 1, select all, float, defloat.

Open paper 10 and paste into selection, select none.

Layer 2, select all, float, defloat.

c/p paper 13(TALC) into selection, select none.

Layer 3, select all, float, defloat.

C/p paper 14(TALC) into selection, select none.

Layer 4, select all, float, defloat.

C/p paper 19(TALC) into selection, select none.

Layer 5, select all, float, defloat.

C/p paper 9 into selection, keep selected.

Paste a copy of your tube as a new layer, move to the right.

Section, invert, delete, select none.

Change blend mode to overlay and reduce opacity to 75.

Apply drop shadow.

Layer 6, select all, float, defloat.

Paste paper 12(TALC) into selection.

Keep selected and apply an inner bevel

Add a drop shadow.

Layer 8, delete word art c/p element 114, resize 40%

Change the blend mode to burn.

Apply your drop shadow.

Delete layer 9

Element 78, resize 60%, move to bottom.

Element 41, paste on top of layer 4, resize 40%, then 70%

Apply drop shadow, duplicate, mirror horizontal and drag to the left.

Select layer 1, open element 106 and paste, resize 80%

Move to the left.

C/p element 16

C/p element 19

C/p element 53

C/p element 14

C/p element 46

C/p element 115

Add your tube, copyright info and name.
